I swear, people like this need to be strung up by their balls on public display and flogged until they're black and blue.

Hehe

I toyed with the idea of posting this, just to give a more even forum post spread. However, I posted representing ClubGP.com(as mmm...boost).

Total retard. If you haven't already, look at some of the animated gifs later on in the thread. They're hilarious.

Hm, read the thread a bit. It sounds like hes claiming his gas pedal stuck, and that theres been a recall out for that very problem for a while.

LOL!

Oh, and Avder(heh): the sticking throttle issue/recall was only when you have cruise control activated. Even then it shouldn't stick at WOT.

Go back and Read it now. He says the gas stuck and he panicked. It was redlined in third. with him standing on the brakes.

by Top Gun
Yeah Duper, but if you read even up to page 6 or 7 of the thread, there's at least 20 people who have picked apart his story and found a lot of BS.

IMHO, His parents should by beotch slapped for not taking his car away after first wreck.
Hell Gonz tried taking my first car away after I got my first ticket. Luckily Grandpa stepped in and used his grandfather powers to overturn the conviction. :P

Yep. The guy is an idiot. You learn the punching the clutch is the answer to practially everything that could possibly go wrong on a stick shift about 2 days after you start driving one. If the accelerator got stuck on my car it would take me about a second to solve the issue by punching the clutch, and if I was driving at a reasonable speed to begin with, 1 second of acceleration isn't enough to make ANY differnce. I would suggest that if he an even close to viable story, he would have to claim that both a gas got stuck, and the clutch arm broke at the same time. Even then, it isn't hard to pull the stick out of gear, but that's another issue.
One of the idiots wrote:f.y.i to the guy who did the math, 730 feet is NOT 2 1/2 football fields. 730 yards is, not 730 feet.
And I always thought football fields where 100 yards long.

On another note: what's this that people are talking about the WOK (what's that) getting stuck, and about the turbo being unpredictable, etc?

Linked because stealing bandwith is a no-no

Cutting the ignition is a bad idea- most cars (like mine) have that locking steering column thing that happens as soon as you turn off the car, now you could turn it off, then turn the ignition back on as soon as that engine dies, but you wouldn't have steering in the mean time.

This is funny right here. Even funnier when you read about his puddle/expedition accident post.

Funny, but at the same time very sad... how...?
