Yeah, I even took the liberty of checking it out. (Oh come on, what single guy hasn't surfed a porn site atleast once? Other than Messenger. Image) It looks mostly like google, with some differences.

1. Doesn't display links, even if you hover your mouse cursor over the link.
2. Doesn't cache websites.
3. No image or newsgroup searching.

Thats well over the 10% difference allowed in copyright law (unless thats been changed) so as much as google can complain, they really can't do a whole lot about it. You have to admit that the concept is kinda funny.

I don't know about you guys, but I get my porn from usenet and from friends.

Looking for porn on the web is an exercise in futility, unless you're willing to pay for it.

I know it's about Booble, but...

If any search engine is going to have a shot at competing against Google in my book, it simply must have the "Cached webpages" feature. There are other engines as accurate as Google, but this feature seperates it from the rest.

Sol, that is the least of the problems to implement. I admit I use the caching feature a lot myself (if only for the highlighting).

I've been developing new search technologies (weighed multiplanar searches instead of lineair singleplanar PageRank Google uses) and brainstorming about new ideas (instead of searching the web, normalize the web ).

I will try to write academic whitepapers or even a thesis about proof of concept of such ideas and futher researching them. That is one option for my subject next year.

Anyway, I just wanted to say, there's a world of difference between search technology and presentation and features.

To be honest, I miss the "Translate this page" option that Google had. I wonder who thought it would be a great idea to remove that feature....

If you think that's funny, click on the "Sense of humor" link on the Booble website.

NO - Pr0N is freely available, and in large quantities on the 'net - and it's all good, clean, consenting adults stuff. You should *NEVER* pay for pron on the web.

If you want a good URL, e-mail me.
