Having a problem with D3... and its limited only to D3, this problem doesn't recurr anywhere else, or in any other game, etc. Here's the problem...

I use a mouse and n52 Speedpad to play D3. I recently installed a new vid card (since I only had a *gasp* Intel Integrated 845GL Extreme (my @ss)Graphics chip. I installed an nVidia GF4 MX 4000, so now I get a decent frame rate and can kinda sorta play Halo and UT2004, but now in D3 my mouse rapid-clicks. I use the left button for Primaries, right for secondaries, and middle for AB. I can't charge the fusion, it only rapid fires (if you call it rapid), I can't zoom the MD, it instantly fires; and my AB pulses like all hell... so bad I can't get any extra propulsion out of it. The vauss, when flying a BP or Pyro GL, only fires from the left barrel, even when holding the mouse button down... thats how fast the mouse clicks. Can someone help me plz?!! I can't play D3 without my charged fusion or vauss that works right! And god knows I need my AB...

add -framecap 100 to your command line.

Yep, that and a bunch of other tweaks too. Where is Xeon when you need him?

Turn on vsync in D3 and in your driver control panel in addition to -framecap 100.

It is another bug with D3 and higher framerates.

Did all that, did that too, and yep, did that one too. But I didn't FORCE my G4 to use VSync, just set it to Application Selected... lemme go try that.

K, framecapped at 100, forced VSync... didn't work. Any other ideas?

Fixed it, but now I'm stuck with a 50 ms frame rate :-(

What's your Refresh rate on the Monitor itself? Not the vid card, the Monitor itself. FIddling w/that might work, but that is just a guess/idea.

What driver version are you using fo your vid card ? Anything above 4x.xx and below 6x.xx had problems w/ the mouse. Try the latest one from nVidia or the 67.66 found on guru3d.com
