Unreal Golf Shot by Woods.

Whoa!

This is simply the luckiest shot I've ever seen. As it is part of an ad, it makes me wonder at how true it is and if it wasn't doctored.

Does anyone have any backup on this or proof otherwise?

I wouldn't watch golf if you paid me.

But still, that was a wicked shot. (The fact that I'm saying it should really say something -- I hate golf, and I still think it was a great shot.)

Oh yeah its real... The Nike gang are about ready to make a mess in their pants over it. If they can get the rights from the Masters to the vid be prepared to see it in commercials forever... That brand of ball he was using is just set for release. What a better way to cash in...

Tiger makes a mint from endorsements and married a hottie.. Lucky Bastid

The first thing I thought was "another doctored Powerade ad." Then I saw the tagline "Just do it". Plus they wouldn't be able to (or want to) hire that many extras for a commercial.

I shoulda watched the Master's. And I'm definitely working at the Open again in 2008. You have no idea how much fun it was to volunteer in '02. :D

Heh...this thread kinda reminds me of the time I was about 1 inch away from a hole in one on a par 3.

I've hit one hole-in-one. The ball hit one of several geese standing on the green and then rolled into the cup.

I'm keeping my day job.

Nike's HQ is here in my home town. :)

They always bully the city council. ..er.. when the city council TRIES to bully them.

They once tried to make Nike sell of a couple acres of timber across the street from thier HQ so that Beaverton could develope it for housing as it is next to the (then new) light rail track (That's a electric commuter train).

Beaverton was prepared to FORCE them to surrender the property and Nike threatened to move. ... Beaverton Mayor got a call from the Governer and the US Vice Pres.:o .. all within a couple hours!

Needless to say, Nike no longer "had" to sell.

That was the "caddyshack" shot for real, I was waiting for Bill Murray to pop up looking for the pieces of gopher he'd blown to kingdom come.

That ball stopped, and then dropped, anyone think they might of heard a small ground shaking boom before it went in ?

Or is it just me?

Reaching a new plateau:

well just when you would think Tiger's marriage and by his presence alone which elevated the other greats, sidetracked Tiger (which these two factors did), Tiger surprises us with a bunch of er wild shots culminated with yet another great shot ... maybe he re-invented himself and the field will follow once more ... we shall see :)
