Here's one I found today. They have a movie you can watch on their website that reminds me of hoard. Seems they still need a publisher so I'll cross my fingers. It seems it might have potential, and hopefully it will be moddable so someone here could go to town with it.

Looks like an ever so slightly beefed up D3 engine :)

Could have promise. Would like it better if they could spell. :/

But what if there's no trichording? Are we all going to piss our pants again? :P

Gameplay looks like a lot of fun, but, unfortunately, its graphics look quite outdated, and that means a lot in today's world.

Looks like a simplified descent-ish game in which you may only play hoard. I see the engine supports water and reflections, though. And why do the pilots in the video refuse to slide, except when indoors? Although I do like how they called it an "innovative flight shooter".

Reminds me a bit of the ill-fated Echelon, only with indoor areas.

looks interesting, too bad their site totaly blows. It only shows on like 25% of my screen, doesn't scale very well.

Looks fun to me.

Actually, this brings up an interesting solution to trying to balance large outdoor and confined indoor regions: make ships take major damage when they smack into stuff, and you can crank up the speed while keeping things sane indoors. Outdoor areas would be pretty exciting if you could fly them insanely fast, it would add a different play style to the 'typical' D1/2/3 thing. Also, I wonder if the outdoor areas have a similar ceiling to D3.

You guys should try to get a playable demo from these people. The Descent crowd is the perfect set of play testers for this company.

you dated a cgi chick?

as for the game, it looks like a gamecube game gone awry.

Id give it a shot, looks ok, trailer had too many 3rd person shots, as long as its a 100% FPS i'm in...

I want to post on their boards, but it's german. I need some advice from someone who visits foreign boards. Is it customary to just speak your native language or run it through the google translator?

since the site is bi-lingual, you should be just fine using english.

OMG. That's a bit sad isn't it?

The engine doesn't look that exciting to me. The colours are far too in-your-face, and the detail level seems low compared to modern games.

I'm not saying it mightn't be a great game - but it definitely isn't publishable looking like it does right now.

Doesn't seem ill-fated to me.
