coming back to multiplayer...(how to?)

So I've been away for a few years and it looks like things have changed. I'm glad that there are still die hards playing the best 3d action game ever made, but the numbers are a bit down. No prob.

I just got DSL and tried logging on to PXO with no luck. So where are we going to play multi theses days? Also, is ther anything special I should know about getting hooked up using WinXP and DSL?

Thanks for any help and hope to se you in the mines

Ed a.k.a. Nimrod

Thanks for the link Couve_, I guess. I see patches which I already used, but I don't see anything telling me how to get hooked up. Maybe I've gotten pretty shtuped, but I doubt I'm alone.

So how do hook up from the title screen?

Thanks

ps- which service are most Material Defenders using?

I use Kquery cause it was the easiest to set up. I am computer feeble. Just d/l it then go to that tutorial page Suncho has. Kquery spies the games then launches D3 once you select what game you want. Pick a pilot and it launches the level like back in PXO.

Dont forget Vortex. My personal favorite. I know some have had problems with it but it works great for me.

'fraid not, I've always been Nimrod.

I did get online and it's as good as I remember, even better now with DSL. Thanks for your help.

See you in the mines,

Thanks. I like it. Most people don't know the formal meaning. They still think of Elmer Fudd, which is OK too.

I do, Post flood guy. Gen 10:9.

I really don't understand where the negative connotation comes from. It's actually a very honorable name.

LOL!

It only has a negative connotation because it just plain sounds dirty. Now, combine that with typical middle-American ignorance...

nimrod was a mighty hunter and an opposer of God. which is stupid b/c God > nimrod, so nimrod was stupid so "no duh, nimrod."

he started what would develop into Bablyon.

it is suggested since the babylonian god marduk is regarded as the founder of babylon, marduk represents the deified nimrod. the stoopid oaf. XD

also the name of a super sentinel mutant hunter in the marvel comic universe.

EDIT: Oh, hi, nimrod. I think I remember playing u b4. wb.
