I'd like to play online using kquery4 and my Logitech profiler for my Wingman 2.4.
Anyone know how to set this up?

Win XP SP2 and DSL.

Thanks,

Nimrod

I think I don't understand the question -- the profiler has nothing to do w/ kquery..

I launch D3 using the Logitech Profiler so I can use the programmed commands in my joystick. To launch kquery it launches D3 on it's own bypassing the profile I have in the Logi Profiler.

I'd like to know how to launch D3 through kquery and use the stored stick profile too.

Thanks,

The logitech profiler doesn't auto-detect the application in use and switch profiles accordingly?

How 1999 is that?

...please keep going. Are you saying that the Logi Profiler will detect kquery and then kquery will launch D3? If this is so I'll try to make it work that way unless you have a quick tip or two.

Thanks,

Ed

The logitech profiler should detect Descent 3 and respond accordingly. Start D3 however you want, including Kquery, Vortex or whatever. As long as the logitech profiler is set to detect main.exe there should be no need for intermediate steps.

*disclaimer: I haven't used logitech sticks or their profiler for about a year now.

So I start the Profiler and D3 through it. When I start kquery and pick a game to join it's not using the profile, it's seems to start main.exe on it's own.

Maybe I'm using the wrong sequence?

You have to configure the Profiler to detect when main.exe is running. You do not start any applications through the profiler.
