a real pioneer of comedy. the man took black comedy out of the apollo and put it in the white folks face. there weren't a lot like him that were brave enough to try it.
im amazed he held on as long as he did!!! m.s. and a triple bypass, nearly burning himself to death while freebasing???
REST in peace! you earned it!!!

I remember watching him and Gene Wilder in "Stir Crazy" at the movie theatre. That was one heck of a funny movie. Rest In Peace.

*Lights Match* Whats this?
"Richard Pryor running down the street"
His later comedy when he was reflecting on his life was funny. There was an equal mix of "look what a dumbarse I was" and learn and don't do what I did. Him and Gene were an awsome pair as well.
RIP
