Well, I happened to drive by the undisclosed location of Sick One's Asylum, and it has been leveled. A new house is being constructed at the location.
RIP Asylum. You were good to us.

I had only one chance to play at the Asylum, on my way down to visit Barry. The date of that Asylum session was September 14, 2001. My flight somehow got cancelled.

Man, those were some days. Never made it to the Asylum personally but I sure flew a hella lot with most of it's pilots when D3 first was released including meeting most (if not all) of you in Vegas at the $50k tourney. RIP, Asylum, undoubtedly the most legendary ongoing LAN party in Descent.

Picked 'em up in Gilroy one year.. used 'em for spring snowboarding, they were awesome!

Some of the best games I ever played were there....too bad I was completely anhilated by the likes of Sicky, Nirv, Wlverine, Radman, Slurpy, Apolon and Widowmaker. Only Radman remained out of the Blue Squad in the Descent-Rangers, but then again, he was an original member of Green squad...
I must say, to this day I have never had as much fun as any one of the times I went down to play for the day.
