Anyone care to hazard a guess as to what replaced Bing Crosby's "White Christmas" as the most requested radio song?

I dunno - but I swear, if I hear another track from "Snoopy's Christmas" I will be forced to strangle, disembowel, quarter, and then burn what remains of whoever is responsible for playing it!

heh, and here I would've thought it would be "Please Christmas Don't Be Late!" by Alvin and the Chipmunks.
(I'm sorry, but I love that song.

lol ... my kids found my old vinyl 'Chipmunks Christmas' album. they made me dig out the turntable and hook it up (didnt unpack it since all my vinyl is stored), since i was worried they were going to wear a hole in that song, i tracked down the mp3 for them.
good track, 'til the liluns get a hold of it!

Well guys, Sarge does it yet again and gives the correct answer. "Granma was run over by a Reindeer" is now the most requested song on radio stations. As a prize Sarge will get a autographed picture of me in my stag antlers surrounded by a a small herd of naughty girls. Merry Christmas Sarge.

If you're referring to "A Charlie Brown Christmas," then you deserve all of the fates that you posted. Not only is that Christmas special the greatest ever made, the Vince Guaraldi Trio's soundtrack is absolutely fantastic. "Linus and Lucy" FTW!
More on-topic, I would have put forth "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24" by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra as a likely candidate. A year or two ago, that song was getting hours of airtime each week. And rightly so; Christmas music remixed with a healthy sampling of electric guitar just sounds way too cool.

Hmmm... "Linus and lucy" with heavy electric guitar...
