Video In for FX5600-VTDR128
I have a PC with this FX5600-VTDR128 card. I want to set up a quasi-web camera by using an old Sony Handycam 8mm Camcorder by connecting the video out from the camera into the Video In on this card. So far I can only get a sigmal to my PC by using the supplied MSI media Center Deluxe II program ...

I have several questions listed after this info. I currently have a fax machine that shares my voice telephone line. The ...

The server is not connected to the internet. The server does have a different workgroup name, ip, gateway, subnet assigned to it. I have googled several wording variations on dual nic config, multi-homed PC's, etc. I have not found a complete answer yet. There is a lot of router, sybase, gateway ...

Dual Networking on Dell Laptop
I own a Dell Inspiron 9300 Laptop. It has a built in WiFi and a 10/100 Ethernet port. I have XP Pro installed. Question... Can I assign two entirely separate workgroup names, IP Address, Gateway, Subnet, etc. I want to access my wireless gateway for home PC's on wiFi connection and separately access ...

Hmmm.... seems you would need to stay with DCHP for the general public (customers) to easily access your connection. I think the best thing to do is have a user name / password system. This way your customers do not have to reconfigure their network settings. Ace Combat's idea was good... You might ...

I want to clarify that I only possess a mid-range knowledge of electronics at best. Upon observing the idea of a faraday cage I can see it working for lightning strikes, static discharges, etc. Isn't a PC Case a faraday cage in a basic sense of the word? The same goes for a steel supported building ...

I don't think that satellite images offered to the public or the ones viewed for free have the resolution you are looking for. I have never paid for an image because they are expensive so I am not sure if the resolution is any better. I have found aerial images taken from planes that are much better ...

I used to set up my Compaq AMD-500 laptop as a server with 6 PC's playing into it. Black Sharks were being launched everywhere. Sometimes 6 at a time. I never noticed any lag or delay. The best fun was to discover someone was hiding in an adjacent room. Launch the shark near the door and then flare ...

Nikon Digital SLR cameras will work with any Nikon lense made as far back as into the 80's maybe even older. With the Autofocus lenses you are able to take advantage of the advanced metering. With older manual focus lenses you only get basic spot metering. My film versions ( 6006, N-90 ) have the ...
