Regular phone jack to computer
I have a friend who is using "dialup". Yes he does....and he is looking at buying a Toshiba C50-B1503 Laptop.
Can he add a phone line port to it?
If not, how about a desktop?
Would this work? http://www.ebay.com/bhp/usb-dial-up-modem

Re: System restore points are gone
I did create new restore point and I do have a "Slave" drive that I backup to every two hours for my data. However, if the computer itself goes wonky I'd like to be able to go back a couple days.
Thanks for the reply.

System restore points are gone
I was trying to create a restore point every couple of days and it wasn't doing it. So I went into the "task" Scheduler" and tweaked it a bit. Now I went in today to "System Restore' to see if there were any new restore points made. And not only were there no new restore points made, but there also ...

Windows 7 not updating
A friend's Windows 7 64 bit computer is not updating Windows and I get this message error 80070002. I have tried the "readiness tool". Start and stopped the Windows update services and run the "fix it" tool. Also, the "automatic troubleshooter". And KB 947821 info. Any other suggestions?

That ...
