Good work, very nice !
I know for sure that the selected player ship is included into the checksum. Subway dancer uses modified game content, which could also be included.

Re: Fix for Linux Loki Checksum bug
I'm ashamed it's 404, i have no clue how that happened (VEX changed servers twice since the release). Searching the web I found the perl script http://odf.sourceforge.net/downloads/descent3/d3fixd.pl but you will also need the checksum database. Things on my todo list (after finishing studies in a ...

To compile the firmware, install the GNU toolchain for your operating system. Change to the firmware directory and run \"make all\". ??? Here I'm lost! :? Is it possible to have a step to step guide to do that? Step 1) install GNU toolchain. Step 2) change to the firmware directory. Step 3) run ...

Oh, I've just seen this article tonight. The argument is, that the goals of Scientology are in contradiction to the rights stated in the german constitution. Any organisations which aims against the constitution is considered illegal (for obvious reasons). It does not depend on that the organisation ...

To a physicist, this structure is even more interesting because it may be able to help resolve issues in higher-dimensional physics. Sorry for this necroposting, but there is huge movement on the E8-market. Nothing more than "An Exceptionally Simple Theory of Everything" is claimed based on E8 ...

Re:
But trying to calculate p gives the same problem in the other equation! Yes, you see ? All those relativistic equations with the velocity v doesn't make sense, as you approach v -> c. This is because m > 0 and v=c is contradictory. Working with relativistic theory in this way shows you, that the ...

Everyone can believe what they want. Knowing relativity is nothing crucial for survival ^^ I haven't studied physics to tell you rubbish, but exploring relativity by yourself from the very beginning is a great experience. Because you know actually why things are as they are - and not because someone ...

Re:
The way how to add up velocities lies in the special geometry of spacetime, which can be found by the statement that \"the speed of light is constant for any (unaccelerated) observer\". The equation for energy as above is also a consequence of the same geometry of spacetime. Thus the reason for ...

Re:
On the other hand, I find the actual definition itself to also be sketchy in that regards, as photons, even though they don't have mass, move at a speed of c, and 0/0 is just as infinite! This is because you use the wrong equation. The right equation is: E^2 = m^2 c^4 + p^2 c^2 where p is the ...

Neo, this is not the whole story. To show that energy is infinity at speed of light only says that the theory is obviously wrong for (massive) objects with speed of light. Thus by logic one could say that this equation must be wrong at all for every velocity. The only reason not to draw this very ...

We already know that general relativity (large scale physics) and quantum physics (small scale physics) are incompatible. This doesn't mean that each theory is false - it is just not applicable at the other scale. Of course there must be physics which includes both, but this has not been found yet ...

I don't know the current models, but the ones I have have a strange LED behaviour. On Powerup, the LED is almost on (in fact it is blinking at a very high rate). Re: Mouselook - An Objective Look
Some say ‘it gives to much of an advantage,’ im assuming the advantage is aiming over a joystick user. The problem with mouselook is not aiming, but turning. In principle you can aim with a joystick as good as with a mouse. But turning is capped due to the limited range of joystick motion in con ...
