Re:

Any predator? No. An alligator should be able to kill a bear. When they get a peice of you, they spin. A killer whale pwns anything in the water. They eat great white sharks. Well yeah, a water predator will have a huge advantage in water against a land animal. You could also say that a bear could ...

Do you know if your drive burns DVD-R or DVD+R? Gotta make sure the disks you're trying to burn match up with what your drive is capable of burning. A friend of mine got a box of DVD-Rs not knowing he had a DVD+R burner and ended up with a nice 10-pack of coasters.

Sizing also depends greatly on the type of bike and the use. I ride a 53cm road bike, which is about 21"... my mountain bike is 16.5", which is too small for general riding purposes, but great for more demanding riding where I need to move around on the bike a lot. I agree with Vander on the disc ...

I personally ride the Fisher Opie . I got it for $600 Canadian, after taxes and with a couple upgrades, and it's solid. The components kind of suck, but the frame is great. It's the same frame as the best of that line, only with different components. I've subjected it to about a month of urban ...

My problem isn't the price of a textbook; it's the way they go through editions. I know of more than one textbook where the only difference between editions was a re-ordering of the chapters. Everything else was word-for-word identical.

I use heavy picks (2mm) because I like the 'feedback' pressure the strings give when the pick doesn't flex. It gives a very good range of dynamic control, but when I'm playing hard (i.e. rocking out for a crowd) I'm really hammering the strings, which isn't good for their lifespan. That, combined ...

For acoustic, I use John Pearse Jazz Light nickel wound, or GHS White Bronze. I love the tone of that kind of string. I have a small guitar, so the brightness really gives it a lively tone for picking. Kind of "overdrives" when I strum hard, though. Electric, I use Ernie Ball 10-52. I like 10s on ...

Get your pistol aim down. Two body shots to drop the shield, then one headshot to kill. Against a good player, you generally have four shots before you die, or five if you surprise them, so make those shots count. And don't jump around when fighting - it just makes you an easier target.
