Ive got a network adapter 3Com® PCI 3C905B-TX and a sound card sound blaster live value that are using the same IRQ,the problem is it causes the sound to pop. ive tryed changing the irq but windows wont let me. i even unchecked the "use automatic setting" no go. Any help would be apreciated.

Since my descent 3 cd exploded
i have had to format and reinstall windows losing my descent 3 install in the process.
i cant reinstall d3 as my backup i made is scratched to h*** and wont work.

i made a back up of my descent 3 cd when i first got my burner.
only problem is descent 3 knows its a backup is there a no cd patch to fix this?
(wont 1.5 remove copy protection?)

I was watching a moive in the game it started stuttering. then there was a THUMP from the cd and i opend it and what was left of the cd fell out.
