I know this a little late, but glad you guys have been keeping D3 alive and running smooth on new systems and hardware. I just upgraded some of mine and was pulling my hair out over video issues. Boy was I glad to find this thread.

Nice job and thanks for the post. I love finding things like this. I'm on the fence about which video card for a new system I want to build (DOOM 3 is coming ya know). This has given me something new to consider (I may be sick too).

I use a no CD patch so I can keep my CD in good condition for the eventual reinstall. Will the cheat detection methods rule this out?

How about making the 1.5 patch a no CD patch? Other games have done this and it puts controll of what goes into the patch with you.

Its still alive? :o The last time I looked into this was over a year ago. :shock: I know its tempting to do a lot of new things like multiple monitor support, but please don't over reach and never release anything. D3 has been in need of updating for a very long time (its been almost 4 years ...
