You will also have to run it again every time you reboot.
I'm curious as to why this command is needed at each reboot? If my memory serves correct, then this is a symlink to /dev/input/js0. If this command is issued as root, then it should be a permanent file.

Let me describe some items real quick. The blue shell has changed for those of you that know it from the 64 on. It doesn't race along the ground, and short of a star it can't be dodged. It flys in the air now, so it only hits the leader, and it really takes them out. It will be at least 3 seconds or ...

That's very strange. The programs I used were jstest, and jscal to get my joystick working. Once I had it calibrated I was able to use it in Descent 3 right away. I'm using an analog joystick, so the only other problem that I can think of is that you may not have all the needed USB drivers compiled ...

DCrazy, this seems to be a known problem with many hardware wireless routers. They simply do not work. I've had two D-Link DI-624 routers now. He said 400kbps, not KB/sec. Note the lower-case B. There is a HUGE difference between the two. Do you happen to have a link to a website describing this? When you say 1.5 do you mean 1.5 Mbps downstream? If so then 400 KB/s is faster then 1.5 Mbps. 1.5 Mbps should equate to 192 KB/s if I'm not mistaken.

If you were using Linux then you could go with QoS/Fair Queing that's built into the kernel. Of course it's free unlike netlimiter, but then you'd also have to run Linux or actually simply have a linux router allowing your desktop machines to utilize Win32.

It would probably be nice to perhaps have some mailing list to let those of us who want to know about Descent 3 events such as these known so we could make the time to attend.
