Sound detection crash
My sound card is a SoundBlaster Audigy Advanced MB (according to Creative) but runs through another program called Sigmatel. It supports (to my knowledge and testing) Directsound, Directsound 3D, and EAX. Whenever D3 tries to detect it in the setup window, the launcher crashes. I'm not sure if this ...

its in Level 12 when you get to the last two bosses prior to the Spider thing DO NOT PROCEED to the Spider. instead, turn around and head back and goto the other side of that room that splits into the two bosses. defeat that second boss to pickup the second Data Cartridge. i have an idea where you ...

As luck would have it...readyman is right. It would be tough to offend me through a BB :) I want to drop you a line Zbriggs..I want to help make the website of a new awesome game. I want to come up with some cutting edge ideas on how to get your message across to your gaming audience through the ...

While I do hate missleboating games, I don't entirely like the old D1/D2 weapon tracking. I can remeber many a time where an ace pilot would join the game, collect all the best weapons, and then procede to beat the **** out of everyone else(who not only where below him on the skill tree, but where ...

While I will agree that the D3 singleplayer campaign was not as exciting as it could have been, I think D3's goal-based system has much more potential than the standard grab-keys, kill-reactor-or-boss, escape of the first two games. They were fun, but after 12 or 13 levels or so, it just got to be ...

One last thing I'll add to the wishful thinging list...sound. A beam weapon should have some god-awful hissing, ripping sound of electron/photons being torn apart. One time, I played FreeSpace 2 with a good pair of expensive headphones. Wow. When the Shivan ships go flying by quickly, or when you ...
