Thanks for organizing these games! I just now found out about them, but I know it can be like pulling teeth sometimes.

Play around with your sensitivities. I've found that if I can't hit a thing, I need only play around with those and it dials in pretty well.

I might have it on one of my old IDE drives... I don't have a converter for it at the moment.

I agree: "Better" is subjective. For fine aiming, it can be more efficient. I've always found that the trade off isn't worth it. I've stuck with a 3D Pro + N52.

I agree Foil. There are some forums where folk's signatures, or the images in their signatures dwarf whatever they're posting. I suppose shutting off them for individuals would don't like them would be an option. Perhaps setting a character limit and disallow [img] tags would be warranted?

Well done! I have only a hobby-level understanding of C++, and if working with it is anything like the troubles of working with server-side scripting and a HUGE database, I am impressed at the work that went into it. And KoolBear, thanks for breaking the DNS so we would eventually end up with a new ...

Re: Feedback on the new layout
(Although the theme is likely a sample that came with the new forum version, the WOW theme can go die in a fire.)
I'm using DescentBB_D3 right now, and the sizes of message text, usernames, post information (date posted, etc.) could all use a boosting.

Congrats guys! It's nice to see the under-workings of this forum finally get overhauled.
Did anyone think to archive the forum on some physical media...just in case?
Also, does this conversion mean that the search function finally works?

I have a headset from Turtle Beach, and aside from a [sarcasm]minor[/sarcasm] design flaw, they've been great! But I wouldn't recomment them, and they're out of production... That being said, I'd be interested in a replacement for that headset and they're climbing up in years, and eventually they'll ...

I could toss a simple \"Natural selection will take its course\" here, if it wasn't for the fact that in a car you could easily end the lives of more than just yourself.. As for the video, if you're stupid enough to deem it necessary to reply to a text-type message RIGHT NOW, and end up falling into ...

Audio Taunt\\Ship Logo Troubles
Greetings folks. After some troubleshooting last night, I have come to the DBB in hopes that someone else has had a similar plight. My problem lies in Descent3 with audio taunts, and a seemingly similar correlation with my ship logo. My issue is this: I hear about 50% of the audio taunts played by ...

First off: Ubuntu is a Linux Debian-based distribution. It uses the Linux kernel. There is a version of D3 for Linux, though it's a bit dodgy... Also, D3 has been known to work through Wine... Though I don't have experience working with either... You may, however, get lucky and be able to play D3 ...

Braid... (this game is a work of art in every sense) I've played the demo for that game and rather liked it. I'm a bit cheap to shell out for the full version however. I have a #3 now!
