Is there a fix for D3 Linux network?
There was a bug which prevented the linux client from participating in network games. Did that ever get fixed by any chance? If not, do you thing Loki or whomever owns it would consider releasing the source code? I mean it's not like theres a lot of commercial viability left in D3 - everyone here ...

But it's fairly straight forward. I think if I just marked what part I changed, you'll get it.
How can I post it here?

I have a Linux kernel hack to get the hat switch working.
The hat switch does not work on some joysticks, Thrustmaster Top gun afterburner(what teh ghey name for what is actually a half decent stick) and at least one SaiTek model. Probly lots of others. The crux of the issue is that D3 wants hats to show up as switches, and the Linux kernel presents them ...

Windows to Linux Netgame connectivity issue
I recently tried to start a Co-op game in the D3 regular game. Windows clients could not connect with the error being something to the effect that the levels between the two machines did not match, Someone told me it was a known issue with checksumming or some such thing and that it would be fixed ...

D3 Linux Joystick Hat switch not functional
The issue is that the linux joydev.c presents the hat as an axis, but D3 only wants to see it as a switch. There is a hack located at: http://svn.icculus.org/lgfaq/trunk/coolie.txt?rev=256&view=markup But I can't seem to get it to work on 2.4.29(It was originally written for 2.4.8). Any help greatly ...

Linux D3 hat switch
D3 won't pick up the hat switch on my thrustmaster top gun on either 2.4 or 2.6 kernels.
I know the switch works because a "cat /dev/js0" dumps data out when I move the hat switch.
Any suggestions would be greatly apprecieated!
Thank you!

Linux D3 hat switch
D3 won't recognise the hat switch on my Thrusmaster top gun pro. I've tried both 2.4 and 2.6 kernels and got the same result.
I know the hat switch works because I can do a "cat /dev/js0" and I get data out when I move the hat switch.
Any help would be greatly apprecieated!
