Re: Ten Years

Guess what I found http://web.archive.org/web/19990418012301/http://www.pyropilots.org/sages.html I didn't see many old PPG members here... Karash, Merl, Shaka... Re: D2 multiplayer - try to top this...

Funny to think about it.. the Rangers were the n00bs last time I was playing, in the Pyro Pilot's Guild... I think they (PPG) are all dead now.. or idling in IRC ;-) But the Rangers are still around. Nice to see.

hmmmm.. I'd have to say that really doesn't look so extreme- some good tri-cording, but he's not ripping the twist off rolling to much ;-) Mostly the pilots he's playing must like to eat their peas, cause they go barging right in there for a mouthful LOL! So what I did- I got the Breadboard + wires kit I linked in my post above. $13.48, which is only a bit cheaper than if I got 2 of the ones linked in the post directly above + a wire kit. If I were to do it again, I would go that route. I cut my long board in half w/ a hack saw and used both pieces ...

Are there any still available? I need one more. Also, I have a bare board, and I can solder- at one point I was supposed to put one together and document it for my sidewinder fix-it site- I would still like to do that, but I'll need parts and instructions, etc.

Heh.. speaking of crap... Most TV tuners don't do a good job of analog->digital conversion- audio synch and dropped frames are a big issue. Since you are just doing a short tape, it will probably work OK, but I do this a lot, and use a Canopus ADVC-50 http://www.videohelp.com/capturecards.php ...
