My game crashes during one of the demos (descent.dem). It seems to happen right about when the player's shields run out. EDIT: Also, in the original campaign, you can start on any level up to 27! I haven't even started on it in D1X-Rebirth yet! EDIT 2: And it also crashes when I try to start Level 1 ...

Well, the thing is, the computer Descent's installed on has an embedded sound thingy that emulates Sound Blaster, but it doesn't seem to be working.

How would I make a robot face the opposite way from what it was originally facing (as in, turn it around) in DLE-XP?

EDIT: Better question: How do I rotate an object (like say, a robot) around a certain axis?

I can't hear any sound or music in Descent 1! What could be the problem? I'm playing Descent 1 in Windows 98, but I also have XP installed. Could that have something to do with it? Please help.
