Re: UEFI risks: Could the mobo get bricked due to an OS fail?

I haven't personally to come across a Mobo that doesn't respond to some sort of keypress to jump you into the UEFI while it's going through post. I think fastboot allows it to skip a few checks, but a well timed F2 will probably still get you to where you want to be. That said, this screenshot ...

I'm a big fan of Syrians 2013 album, particularly this track:

Antivirus?

Howdy guys. I've just got a new PC, and am dual booting it (windows 10 and arch linux).
However, seeing as I've never spent much time with micro$oft, I'm rather behind times on antivirus products.

Any suggested software? Or can I just ignore it entirely?

I liked the carrot picker.

I think the snowflake was laser cut from the block of metal, and it's simply friction/air-pressure.
Or it may be made via laser sintering (3d printing metal). I'm not quite sure.

I have established that the problem is in fact due to an issue between 'data' and 'the thing being developed.' Including 100mb 3D scans that are processed/displayed by the simulator is not correct. They are data and should not change/have versions. I should separate out all the data from the program ...

There is a big difference between opinions and errors. I may want an opinion but I can't think of a single case where I'd want an error. I came up with a theorem a couple weeks ago: Sentience is a matter of opinion I also see it as a bit of a pun. The idea is that if an entity has it's own ideas on some topic then it is sentient. This can be expanded to: "If an AI can present an original reasoned argument why you shouldn't turn it ...
