Old-timer dropping in to say \"Hi\" :)
I was feeling a little nostalgic and wanted to drop by to see what's been going on. Glad to still see so many familiar pilots! I haven't be strapped into the pilot's seat in years. Are there still servers running? I see the DXX project seems to have reached a stable phase...that's really cool. TTYL ...

I don't have personal experience with Magellan gear but my Garmin hasn't let me down. It's not a mapping version (this was before those came out) so I have a serial cable that connects to my laptop running MapPoint 2002. From the spec sheets, the Garmin has a 2MB more usable memory for maps, a few ...

Google on "EasyGPRS" . . . or just click this link to get started.
Let me know how you make out . . . I use my S105 to dial-up all the time when I'm away from home or the office.

Wow, some great advice thus far (especially from Flabby Chick). But no one has mentioned Scotches yet. Chivas is Scotch. To me, Scotch in generally is an aquired taste. Try some but don't stop after one or two that you might not like. Different regions have characteristics to the peat which impart ...

I have the Thrustmaster "NASCAR" FF wheel. I like it because it has both paddle and stick shifters. The pedals are a little light so I find myself holding the base down with my left foot. Force feedback is good and strong when i dial it up. The only downside is there is no clutch pedal...just brake ...

Have you tried the CHDelete program yet? That may clean up some junk in the registry. Strange that it shows the fighterstick...can you take a screenshot of your Game Controller control panel? I do use the throttle and stick (no pedals) for D3. My roll is on the front throttle buttons (2 and 3). Here ...

I don't hate it as long as it's encoded at a high enough bitrate for me (1.5Mb DSL). Any comb-filter/warbly sound with wicked blocky compression artifacts makes me instantly stop watching. That said, I rarely stream if I can d/l and watch later. Options are nice but I'm finding more and more that I ...
