That sounds like a thing you can do in certain areas of descent 2 where there are so many items and robots loaded in the area, that the game despawns new ones, including your and robots' bullets

Oh yes, i knew i forgot something. It's easy to convert to d2 over here EXCept for all my door lights changing to D2 only textures and me not having access to the d1 ones. you can shoot through walls with the Fusion or quad laser - just by shooting while being up against the wall at certain angles, because those weapons' projectiles appear far enough away from your ship that they spawn in the cube behind the wall. So I realise one more thing about any% single level speedruns: Killing yourself as soon as you destroy the reactor technically ends the level. Um. I know that when this was first thought of in the whole game speedrun it was looked down on / people thought it should have to be a different category ...

What this level could use, though, is some secrets larger than a single cube. From what I've seen there's a lot of secret doors, but not many contain areas much different from a regular cube, that could use some expansion. EDIT: Converted the mine to D2. I want to start on a D1 level for this, but i'm a bit confused about adding robots and weapons. If i do add my own, will they most likely be gotten rid of, do I get a say in where robots and items go in my level at all? Can I have a very early level?
