SpaceX mission camera selector
Here is the video sequence of the latest Starlink launch I found interesting. At about T+ 5:10 (20m30s of the video) a circular cloud like formation is developed in direction next to left grid fin and then the video switches to the tank camera for a while which having no action or relevance at this ...

Re: I have an idea for quantum gravity
This is a longstanding idea already, right? Isn't the problem we don't have a way to test the theory because we can't build the theoretical particle accelerator needed because it would be too large and take too much energy? I am not sure that physists are familiar with this idea or not but I found ...

Re: I have an idea for quantum gravity
Actually quantum phenomena would be good point to start for gravity. Classical gravity model is static and it is related to mass, therefore it not a result of a dynamics. However gravity could be result of a dynamics and still can be related to a conserved entity. It is interesting to evaluate ...

Re: See what I did
I did it orbiting and posted this version link at Dec 5. http://youtube.com/shorts/VLuojRRY33k I am still working to make the orbiting to continue forever with more attractive strength and by controlling the orbiting speed. I think this speeding is caused either by induction currents or by some ...

Spheres are from a aliexpress bought five years ago. Rest are from local store where they are exporting from far east. This cylender is a 40 mm ID PPRC tubing section where I carved manually the inner section. Housings used on other tests (http://youtube.com/user/sudanamaru/videos?view=0&sort=p&flow ...

Re: See what I did
There are total seven rectangular magnets in this cylender. Three of them make a block of 25x25x20 mm where the dipole is oriented radially in 25mm orientation. The second block is 20x25x5 mm magnet aligned axially and the third block consists of a broken piece of 50x25x10 magnet get thickened by ...

Re: See what I did
The hum is coming from the motor assembly which spinning the cylinder at 7300 RPM, corresponing to 122 Hz. This noise happens because magnets in the air vibrate this cylinder by strong forces. The cylender only contains neodymium mag ets. The motor consumes about 300 mA at 9V DC, Keeping magnets in ...

Re: Ships would never be out of fuel unless designed before
It is possible to obstruct a squid behind some tubes and force it to fire to you continously but inefficiently for several minutes. Please test it. I claim that it can fire indefinitely.

Re: Ships would never be out of fuel unless designed before
If the robots last long enough that they WOULD need recharging Duper, I disagree, they never need to replenish their energy. These stations should be for other equipment. These infestating robots made with newer technology. As I initially stated, such a technology might be available in our actual ...

Ships would never be out of fuel unless designed before 2020
If one already have their cars never be out of fuel in real life by year 2020, it wouldn't be a futuristic game anymore if your newest model pyro cannot replenish its energy by itself. Energy centers would serve only for quick charge. Robots apperently have no energy problem as they can fire ...

Re: Future of robotics
Did the bad man kick the robot…awww…poor thing. :( It's weird to feel bad about that because robots are just things, which have no feeling or reaction toward the cruel action of humanity. However, I feel the same as you do. Yes, we ready to accept robots have emotion and react. So designers can inc ...

Re: Future of robotics
Not a better place sudanamaru? Not better than...? I mean it probably is better than a world dominated by, say, voracious giant sea serpents that kill and kill until nothing else is left and then they start cannibalizing themselves and each other. Humans are doing the same effectively. Look at the ...

Dawn spacecraft Ceres simulated flyover
Hi
There is very nice video and background music showing Dawn spacecraft simulated flyover Ceres. Bright spots are thought natural salt residues but could be damp of mining activities preceding PTMC.

I recently discovered the band Pendulum. The track Propane Nightmare is very good and Hold your Colour album can go well with Descent.
Re: I am back
Very cute. These applications generally uses electronic active stability control. This method is very good and used in industrial apps too. I found another scaled up application which hover a chess board made by crealev.
Re: I am back
If I understand correctly, the ultimate goal of solution stability of the body (or bodies) is to obtain the maximum energy conversion efficiency from it with minimal energy costs. Although energy and stability are related, but not this way: In general a system is (more) stable when its energy is ...
Re: I am back
Mathieu equation solutions allows stability of system which is normally ustable by inducing vibration. However Mathieu eq. typical solution provides stability only in one degree of freedom. Therefore as in the experiments stability in multiple degrees is achived, these results should be considered ...

What is the purpose of these experiments, if not a secret? Stablity solutions for magnetic coupling/levitation. Beside levitation applications, looking possibily of such stable magnetic coupling between spinning magnetic bodies having solutions in particle physics. There are few research in ...

Re: I am back
We're getting closer to that reality every day, and it's a little scary. Our newer cars are already thinking for themselves, and they can be hacked now too. Movie is happening in 2019. Not too far. Sigma, did you ever watched the movie Blade Runner (1982)? If so what do you think? For me it sad that could be a conflict between humans and replicants.

Isaac, thanks for the stats. Now I rarely play Descent, I am waiting for the new one. One can not believe but It is the only game I played since D1. I am interested in physics and doing experiments. In recent months I found a way to float magnets in air (not like the Levitron). The principle is ...
