Hi I can't dodge homing missles and I think it has something to do with the frame rate (its set at 200) ive tried turning it down to 30 with the config file but it doesn't work, ive tried adding " ;-maxfps n " to the short cut name but that doesnt work either, I can't find any other way to fix this ...

There are more players who can play the game on insane, but they are not recording it and not interested to make posts about it. You can try some other and easier levels and then come back to level 9. For example 10, 12, 15, 21, 22, 25, 27... Actually i play level 10 quite a bit mostly to practice ...

Yes, the difference is really big. I think the biggest problem is how fast robots move and can avoid your shots. If you expect to kill someone with particular shot, but fail, you can be in real trouble. Btw they sometimes even escape a homing missile, lol. I was actually thinking of making insane ...

I've moved on to level 8 D1 now, I love the level design, it is much harder than any level I've encountered so far, especially once you get the blue key the tunnels make it a challenge.

It's fun and maybe something to master after you have completed all the level in INSANE-MAX. Then we could try INSANE-MAX-TURBO lol.

It may even help slow down the normal game for you, after a few rounds of turbo I find it easier to dodge and maneuver my ship without turbo

I have a challenge for you.

Start on level 1 on Insane, enter GABBAGABBAHEY and then enter BUGGIN. Then warp to you're level of choice with FARMERJOE.

Could possible set a new speed running category.
