I don't think Interplay will sure you if you make the level a little bigger.

There are different files (don't think they're animated) for the different parts of the reticle. As far as the cockpit goes, I don't even know if it's been done before. MY suggestion would be to open an existing one and modify it as much as you need.

Try Martian Caverns. You drop a target somewhere, and then you can use an invetory item to teleport you to the target you dropped.
