Looks like it should be awsome!! Gonna see it on opening night!! :D Going to drive to Utah to see it with my brother and my best buddy. Should be a blast.

However, judging by the other two films it is a 50/50. :\

Cool space battle scenes. So is this going to be the last of the Star Wars movies?

More than likely, the action will rock but the dialog will suck. ....I'll wait till after is been out a while before I throw 40 bucks at it. :P

i'd really like them to keep them going after. i wanna see luke skywalker's jedi school thing with that prodigy student and how they battle against those orbital ships.
(havn't read the books myself, but i hear things).

Im really hyped up, even though im not a big Star Wars fan (OK I lie, a little) this movie looks to be pretty good with a PG-13. For once he MAY be taking this seriously.

I went to see the movie Robots, and got in late, missing half of the preview. Glad to find it here. Believe me, its even better on a big screen.

there are rumors of a starwars tv series with Luke returning and picking up where return of the jedi left off years later... and played by Mark Hamil

bah, none of them are, or ever will come close to being as good as the ORIGINAL trilogy, the cgi crap is worthless, and almost ruins the original trilogy

I will however still see it, just to see exactly how much it sucks

I'm with you, ccb. I'll admit that the trailer is pretty cool, but the only reason I'm seeing the movie is because it has "Star Wars" in the title.

If the rest of the movie is as good as the trailer, we may finally have a movie worthy of the original.

Actually, I think you may be right, Dead. the trailer looks pretty good. .. but so did "Attack of the Clones".

I remember watching the first one at the movies when I was 10. it totally rocked. There wasn't a show like it. Being raised on Star Trek and Space 1999 and UFO, Star Wars was a dream come true. Might go watch it now. ;)

Well, Episode I sucked balls, Episode II was at least entertaining and more Star Wars-esque (I mean, lets face it, the original trilogy had cheesy dialogue, but the acting was infinitely better) I actually really enjoyed the 2nd one. I can't WAIT for this one.

<--- Star Wars nerd.

The storyline in these new movies has been rushed quite a bit more than the original movies, which is something I wish they hadn't done. I figure, if they're going to make a movie, make it as long as it takes to tell the story, and don't rush it. Like LOTR, that trilogy was done well. Sure the movies are long as hell, but they were done right. Thats my main gripe about the star trek movies, they're like long episodes they're so short.

That being said, I don't think that Episode 1&2 were bad movies. But I don't think they should stop with episode 3, there is a book between empire strikes back and return of the jedi that I think should be turned into a movie also.

I think people who think the new movies suck are expecting too much or are taking it way to seriously.

Just one question...In all these trailers I don't see a SINGLE frame of Count Dooku, what the hell? He goes from major bad guy in ep 2 to nothing in ep 3?

You know it! Marinetts .. or however you speel it, always turn me on. I actually watched both. The puppet version and the live version. I liked the green contacts the aliens wore.

*edit*

DOH! string VESTS! ..lol .. I saw "String" and I immediately thought of the puppet version.

I read the script, I won't compare it to the old trilogy, but i will say it will blow away the previous 2. LOTS AND LOTS of sabers. LIMB HACKIN.

PG-13. thats a first for a starwars film.

He's in the clip but you can barely see him because someone is swinging at his @ss :P

I guess I'm just excited because Yoda and the emperor are gonna get it on.

$10 bucks says they'll take a stab at remaking the original trilogy with the glitzy special effects eventually. too much money to be had not to do it.

i hope not. i'm happy with just the remastering, plus some small extras, they did on the original trilogy.

(you do remember they HAVE done that, right? from your post you didn't elude to it. *eyes you suspiciously*)

i'm talking a continuation of what they've been doing. keeping up with the timeline, they'll release each of the original star wars' as episodes 4 5 and 6 with new actors, new special effects, same story, new profit.

i wouldn't be surprised.

Ya know K, I was thinkin the same thing. I hope not.

Now, if another director on a separte roject did it, THAT might be cool. The only thing is that Lucas and Speilberg are the only ones doing this kinda thing. ...well.. almost the only ones.

They revamped the special effects. Twice.

And dammit! Han shot first!
