No, Seriously .......

Post by Duper »

For all you Serious Sam fans out there, it would seem that there is a Serious Sam II on it's way.

Check it out HERE and HERE
They were giving regular updates on it and thier publisher put a lid on it just before last Christmas. It should be good, thier engine is great.

check the link.

the second encounter isn't the serious sam 2. It will be at E-3 this year. At the second link, there is a couple of downloads of some demos of the new engine. They are rather impressive.

The second encounter was made on the original engine.

Simple, yes. Sucky, no. It was a blast to play, especially co-op. It was also sold for like $20 here so they knew it was a "budget" title from the beginning.

co-op was the bomb. doom3 should've had something like that.

Yup, I never laughed so hard in my life while playing that game. It was worth every penny due to the ammount of laughing noises I made while playing it. :D

I liked it. I got hooked in a coop game at a Lan. We um.. shared.. a copy and spent several hours blowing stuff up.

I agree with Mess.. Luaghed so hard at times in that game I could barely play. the game has some great easter eggs too. :)

It's what Duke Nukem has always wanted to be. And infact I think this is the point they have made. ;)

hmm yeah it was quite dukey wasn't it. nvr thought of that before.

it came in a game bundle that was bundled with a VR glove i got. my brother was bored one day so i figured we'd load it up and give it a go.
i think i played 1.5 levels into it. it had a duke nukem kinda humour to it i spose, but i just wasn't in the mood (for FPS).

I always saw it as a mix between DN3D's humor and Doom II's sheer number of monsters.
