Is there a utility out there that converts a D3 .dem file to avi or something?
I could go about recording the demo with FRAPS but a conversion utility would probably be cleaner.
Anyone??

There's no such thing--the demo recorder records the motion of each unit etc then re-runs the game, re-rendering anything in the process. There is no known way to record .dem files without a screen capture program.

Well, you could try to play the demo after starting the game w/ the -makemovie switch..

Good idea Grendel.
Thanks Stryker. .. I actually knew that. Not sure why it didn't occur to me.
