fraps

anyone have any idea why Fraps wouldn't work?

I installed the demo version then tried to install an earlier version and now it won't work. In that I mean it simply won't start. Watching the task manager, the fraps.exe shows for a second and vanishes.

I cleaned it all out. .. registry, stray dll's. Not sure. The only thing I can think of is that there is a file or reg tag that isn't under a conventional name, or something encripted.

anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried installing to a different folder?

Event viewer might have a log of what is causing fraps to crash.

it did this before I used that.
