The administrators of this forum should turn on account verification so that new people signing up have to be verified by e-mail. That will help on post spamming bots.

There was a rather simple image verification PHPBB mod that I came across a while back, supposedly defeats bots.

So far its working on the boards I frequent with it installed. However, you know how Jim is when it comes to mods.

Seriously though, until he gets around to it, you might want to make registration admin approved and nuke all of the zero post accounts. (Yes I realize how many there are...)

The image verification is something that comes standard with phpBB now, however I've been unable to get it to work.
