Aerodesign Over!

Post by snoopy »

We got 5th place, out of 25 teams. We lifted 16.3 lbs; the top team lifted 19.x- so it wasn't bad. We where the first flight of the competition, and crashed right away. We spent all day rebuilding, and managed to get one flight in on Saturday, and two on Sunday. We probably could have lifted the second to most (putting us at second or third place, overall), if we have had more flights to work with, but such is life. Anyways, I'll try to get some pics hosted and put em up.

Good job Snoopy.

Now take what you learned and apply it to next years plane. And remember, fly early and often. You found out that you should have been flying with contest weight at least a few weeks before the competition even started.

Yeah, we where flying a month before competition, but had a crash that put us way behind schedule. I won't be around for next year, and I'm not even sure if it will happen next year for our school.
