Change sound quailty in the game, set direct3d sound acceleration down one notch from full.

hey krom, i just tried to play D3 again for the hell of it.
remember how my shiz was locking up at random intervals?
well it started doing that again.......but i just completely cleaned out my case
im uninstalling and reinstalling with reboots between each step and see if that will help.

turn off in the bios
System BIOS Cacheable
Video BIOS Cacheable
Video BIOS Shadowing
Video RAM Cacheable
modern o/s access pci and agp cards directly with out going thought the bios, having these enabled can make sound and graphics alittle bit laggy can also give d3 a teleport like effect as well.

if he's running Folding@home, or anything similar, try turning that off and testing.
