great news.
but this got me thinking, we just recently got a digital set-top-box, and we've been having trouble recording off of it with the VCR - it's like it has that annoying copy protection thingy that DVD players have (so you can't copy them to VCR).
[edit: nm, seems the vcr has a thirst for a NTSC signal instead of PAL.]
