Insane Option

I'm a new D3'er and a devoted D1'er who loved the insane level on d1. Don't see the option on D3, but need more difficulty than the bots are giving me on the first 2 levels of D3 - and those guns on top of the outdoor towers are no challenge at all - they can't even hit my ship - anyway, is there a way to make the bots/game more challenging - its hard to drop my sheild below 200 (max) - I want to feel the rush of being on the verge of oblivian!!! Thanks for any response.

When you start up D3 and you are choosing your pilot, select the "configuration" button. That will give you a number of options; one of which, is difficulty.

If you want even MORE challenge, get the Pyromania mod from PD. The robots will shoot real, live rounds that are more than capable of turning you into Metal Hamburger.
