can we get a new forum wide rule about Topic Trashing?

i post a simple topic asking for a simple title to a image and it becomes a total trash fest. this is rediculous and has happened to at least 5 of my topics that were just simple topics.

[rant]its also becoming very annoying that, if i post something thats almost at the level of being one word off-topic, i get a royal shiz fit thrown at me, (in the past) ive gotten warning PM's, posts edited and even sometimes removed completely.... and then some of the people who threw that shiz fit go and do the exact same thing to me, without any consequence or reprimand. thats just a bunch of bull, and very hypocritical that they can trash an entire topic, do what they want,when they want, how they want and with no consequence, and yet i can even say a single word thats off-topic without getting all sorts of crap thrown at me. i can handle the jokes and what not, but this is getting to the level of seriously becoming a issue thats going to cause a whole new issue. and might not even be related or even involving me.

Think before you post, and don't try to impress people, and I doubt any problems would ever arise again. All the trashing I've seen is in response to these two things.

like i said, i know i have my history, but jeez....whats soo hard about not being hypocritical SOB's about everything? i say one sentence thats off topic..........here comes a shiz fit.........

yet at the same time, those who bitched and complained about me go right back and do the exact same thing. now what good is that going to do, if you dont want me trashing topics, WHY TRASH MINE!! all you do is fuel a fire thats never going to go out as long as this crap goes back and forth. i stopped trashing topics like that.......yet you still continue to trash mine.

as long as mine get trashed, the others get trashed.

Ace the only way you're going to not get topics trashed is, get this, not posting them. So in order to properly enforce your rule I'm sorry to say we're going to have to ban you.

The problem here is quite obviously that you're perpetuating the argument. By admitting that you willingly trash others' topics because they antagonize you, you've set yourself up as the first victim of your proposed anti-post-trashing guillotine. Maybe you just need to sit back, collect yourself, and talk and act like a big boy. I'm sure that you can contribute something meaningful to this community without coming across as a smiley-happy preteen. You'll do so much better for yourself if you put your energy into your writing and words rather than trying to compensate for your lack of proper punctuation and spelling with your over-reliance on leetspeek and emoticons. Then come back and type a coherent, concise reply. Continue to post coherently and concisely and people will stop berating you.

Chances are you'll read the first paragraph above, determine that I'm not arguing in your favor, and post an uncapitalized retort full of numerals, which will completely undermine this entire post. And that's fine if you like to be made fun of. But for God's sake if you're going to ★■◆● and moan and propose a new rule of which you are a prime and completely admitted offender, then do us all a favor and just quit while you're behind.

Everyone hates me too because I'm a smarmy ★■◆●. But at least I have my purpose on this board.

but uhhhh obviously the appropriate way doesnt work.

ive asked long ago on several occasions that the topic trashing be looked into as a rule, and i did it very politely and appropriately.......

well.....

nothing happened, and even got to point a response was never even returned, and was just ignored. and in one case....was told some very un-needed comments. now what do you expect me to do when someone says very offensive things....? brush it off.... hell no. especially when that person is someone in the upper chain of power.

and i dont react like i did before. i even politely asked for all those BS replies not to happen because i was looking for "SERIOUS" answers.

i can handle the usuall jokes, and lately have simply laughed at them. i stopped trashing topics after being asked to politely. i stopped being a total jackoff over certain things after a few people talked to me in a more civilized manner. and i especially stopped picking and making alot of drama after i met a few people in person at ChiLAN 2k4, hell i even made jokes in person about the things that went on with me when i first joined the community. ask Suncho, he told me himself that a bunch of you were going to come back here after i showed up at ChiLAN 2k4. a bunch of you were going to say, " He wasnt lying, he actualy was a Navy Pilot and all that other stuff."

i changed the way i presented myself, but apparently people wanted to retaliate and respond the exact same way i did, by doing the exact same things i once did to me, and you tell me:

i dont care what they berate me about. i dont care about how you view my punctuation and spelling methods, i dont care how you think i use my energy. okay, i dont care. what i DO care about is the bias floating around. sure, i know your the moderators and admins. but for crying out loud, this has gone long enough. im trying to change, but the more that you allow these things to happen, how am i supposed to change? when the things that are supposed to change cant be changed because they cant be controlled.

yes i am admitting to my previous mistakes and issues..... but what im not admitting to, nor am i going to act like is that this stuff doesnt bother me. it does, you are the Moderators and Admins of this forum, and when you allow things to happen to certain people but when that certain person('s) gets irritated to the point that they bring it to the attention of those Moderators and Admins you act like it never happened and dont give a shiz about it. thats wrong. im trying to do this the polite way, but thats not working. i asked politely for none of the "AceFace". now i would have been able to handle the casual joke, but the instant it got to the point where it started involving things that were completely uncalled for, thats when i took it to the next level and asked you guys to step in, only to be told no. i dont care how the people like one another, and i certainly dont care how you may like me on this board, all im asking is that it needs to be looked into. why is it that even after it has been brought to attention as a issue that can cause problems, you saying that it wont cause any problems is a very large assumption and guess that could turn very wrong. you have absolutely no idea what could happen with anyone over something like this.

i know i admitted to lying, BUT.....suncho and a couple others had the idea to pull a interesting little joke about my navy story. they were going to say that when they met me that i actually was a Navy Pilot and i wasnt the same person who was in the scanner image of my DL.

After reading that first quote, I just don't think he gets it. This whole thing with AceCombat doesn't really cause the rest of us any problems and never has, it is specifically and has always been his problem.

I don't bother to read his posts very often anymore, because more then half the time its just stupid or annoying garbage I don't want to see.

Hell, do you even think before you post? You said that you're trying to be civil, but earlier you threatened to trash other threads in retaliation? What kind of idiots do you take us for? Thats exactly how Rican got banned dude.

Ace, how many times has this happened before and how many times has this vicious cycle repeated itself? Post something constructive or dont post at all. JEEZ!!!
