Peter Telep ebook

Post by Thenior »

anyone know where I can get a ebook version of Peter Teleps Descent series?

I don't really care if it is free or not, I just am looking for a electronic form. But free is always nicer :D

Meh, Peter Telep is over-rated.

I had to pick up a slightly beat-up copy of the first book, along with new ones of the other two, off of Barnes & Noble.com, but it was definitely worth it. :)

I'd go so far as to say he blows donkeys.

I have the D3 book, and it is completely unreadable.

Yep, bought the first book, put it down after 2 chapters. Pure rubbish.

Don't listen to them; they wouldn't know a good book if it hit them in the face. :P The Descent books might not be "classical literature," but they're an entertaining read. I've read many books in my life, and I managed to get through all three without any problems. They do provide an interesting companion to the relatively meager storyline that's revealed in the games, and there are some elements of the books that I wish could have been incorporated into the games.

I agree. Tis pure crap captain. :P

The physics seemed nothing like D3, the places they traveled never really were that Descent-ish.

Didn't he write Space Above And Beyond?

I actually liked those but Descent really was a poor job. :
I read Stealing Thunder and Equinox due to work that I was performing on various mods. I wanted to keep everything in tune. Equinox was a step up from the ST though.

soo peter teleps books don't hold to the descent storyline, meaning to the originality of it.

It seems like MD is a jerk so far in what I am reading in the first book, but I would like ebook versions
