You might have read about the
Kiowa crash the other day in Iraq... The two pilots that were killed were soldiers in my unit. 1st Battalion of the 82nd Aviation Brigade. I didn't know them, but that's hardly a consolation. It still hits close to home. I just ask you all to take a minute or two out of your day to remember the men and women in arms who serve for and die for our country.
