Bush Pre-emptor

Post by woodchip »

Well we have all seen how impetuous Bush is, what with charging in and offing the Taliban and kicking the Iraqi's ass. The Okie Koki led UN wrings their socialist hands and moans how if Bush would'ave waited a few more decades, why they were sure the Iraqi situation would be taken care of in a humain and civilised manner.
Well here goes Bush again by pledging 15 billion in funding to help africa fight the HIV war. To date the UN has done nothing but pledge to discuss the matter.
So here is a golden chance for frog and the hun with their collective synchophants to step up to the plate and show us how a really powerful organisation like the UN can step up to the plate and actually do some good and show us how they can work with America to eradicate a bigger killer than Saddam and the Taliban combined. Alas that is not the case. By waiting a few decades, I'm sure they think the problem will take care of itself.
It is too bad we have a president that just goes off and gets things done while the ditherers debate the worthiness of his actions.

I've never really been a big Bush supporter, but one thing I do have to admit is the fact that he's a man of action. I HATE indecisiveness and have no patience whatsoever, and nothing gets done when these UN idiots sit there and argue in circles with their thumbs up their asses. Then again, I feel there has to be balance. You can't just rush out and do it your way all the time, but sometimes you just can't wait it out. In the case of AIDs, you simply cannot wait it out. The fact is, Africa as a continent is so bass ackwards they're never going to solve this problem on their own steam. And AIDs, in my opinion, is the biggest terrorist of all here. It would be hypocritical to not try and help.

I think part of the problem, any problem, with the U.N 's lack of action is we tend to think of it as a collective of leaders, of like minded people who are looking to do good on a world scale.
The truth is the majority of the nations in the U.N. are led by criminals in charge of oppressive regeims....dictators, thugs and military madmen.

The U.N. isn't chaired by King Arthur sitting at a round table of Knights in shining armor.
It's not the Justice League where Superman or Batman or Wonder Woman can jump into action and save the day.

Going to the U.N. to solve world problems is like going to a crack house to get drug counseling!

There-in lies the problem. The UN has no leader. Hoki-doki Koki is nothing more than a spokesman and does not have a mandate to make a decision. The giant committee that is the UN does not have a very good track record when it comes to getting a real problem solved. Yeah, they are good at sending food to the refugees but when it comes time to solve a dispute between countries...well nothing gets done. The reason we have 2 koreas is the UN settled for a truce instead of outright victory.
It is curious that thru decisive action on Bush's part, The taliban are gone, Saddam and his thugs are thru (though some do not know it yet) and most recently Libya has decided that WMD are not all they may be cracked up to be. I wonder how many more middle east countries will realise it is in their best interest to be with us...and not against us.

I think your biggest mistake is assuming the taliban is no longer existant. While things may be going our way at the moment, never underestimate the wounded enemies lurking in the shadows.

Everything else I agree with completely though. Despite the fact that I grow tired of seeing 3 out of every 4 posts here in E&C relating to or mentioning Bush or Saddam anymore.
