Me oh My I Can't connect to IRC !!!
Since the topic was hijacked...
NEW TOPIC: Gamesurge is getting reamed.
OLD TOPIC:
It'd be nice to have an IN GAME D3 game list...
And unfortunately, the author was unable to help me. We did some packet diagnostics and etc... no joy. I've tried this on a couple different machines. Even on my primary, including on a clean install of WIN XP Home, connected directly to the cable modem, with no router or LAN connection, would not work.
No Joy for me...
** Has anyone even heard of the relay function?

Gamesurge has been under a DDoS attack since early may, since they have no idea of what they were doing in the first place(previous gamesurge issues) they are still under this attack. these are just the only 2 posts that say why gamesurge is mostly split or down since the begining of may

Again, our sincere apologies for the continuing netsplits. We are again under attack by people who are trying their level best to extort whatever they can out of the network. We are working hard to try to bring this to an immediate end. Thank you for your continued patience.

We apologize for today's frequent netsplits. All of GameSurge's servers have been the target of an ongoing coordinated DDoS attack. We appreciate your patience as we work on filtering the attack and stabilizing the network.

But then the nazi mods can't mess with this one! Oh wait, yeah we can.WarAdvocat wrote:Since this was Hijacked, I figured I'd go ahead and start a new topic for what was important to ME
Normally the method is to complain about all the hijacking, original thread's left behind, flamefest ensues, mods step in and stab the thread to make it die.
Killing our joy here, man!

Yeah I'm a dick. I'm just gonna post off topic stuff in here for revenge.
did you know I have 3 computers and stuff and this one time I had a problem with one of them and I wanted to use the win xp repair console for the command prompt but I accidentally did a repair install of win XP and I couldn't stop it and so the installation hosed my XP installation and then I was getting blue screens but it's a good thing I have extra hard drives laying around so then I copied the drive to a back up drive and reformatted it and re-installed windows XP and patched it and now I have to import all my settings and stuff, and it's a lot of stuff but I can do it because I aer teh smrt.
Isn't that cool?

/counter-hijack <continued>
Well actually, bonehead that I am, I did a repair install of WinXP (over the top of the old) which then proceeded not to work. I didn't do a 'new' installation, so the files on the disk were recoverable, because while I may make mistakes, I don't usually compound my initial lack of attention with subsequent sheer idiocy.
I do confess to cable-tying a fan onto a heatsink on one occasion however.
