I need a decent graphics card, triple monitor support. Preferably nVidia?

Price range isn't an issue.

No such card exists, Nvidia only does dual monitor support on one card. However get yourself a nice 6800 card or whatever with dual monitor support, and a PCI MX card for the third monitor and you are all set, there will be no driver problems if you get two Nvidia cards.

Some of the MX PCI cards even support dual monitors so you could go all the way up to quad monitor support if you wanted.

Your sure about that? Surely there are more than that. I have a 4200TI (a few years old ) and even that has dual monitor support.

No cards with a combination of VGA, TV-OUT and DVI all integrated?

Edit: A four-head card would be okay.
Further Edit: How daft am I? Asking for a 3/4 head card...

Only Matrox ever did a triple head video card. My 5900 ultra card does dual monitor and VIVO, however if you enable the TV out on my card it disables the second monitor, same thing will happen on any card.

I have a dualview right now, if I could find another NEC/Mitsubishi 930SB monitor I'd get myself a PCI GFMX card and run triple displays in a heartbeat.

I've used dualhead since early 1999. Because I pushed so hard at work, all 31 developers now also have dually 19" LCDs or 21" CRTs.

I can definitely understand wanting 3 monitors - it would definitely be a big advantage for extreme power-users. (That doesn't include me I might add!) I find a 3200 x 1200 desktop to be quite adequate!

I'd want triplehead for gaming mostly - because dualhead gaming invariably results in a crosshair spilt between monitors - which isn't too helpful.

This technology is still in development. I'm going nVidia SLI very soon - and I expect to have some "issues" with the drivers. I always do....

I have issues with running out of screen space very quickly, and sometimes needing to run multiple full-screen applications simultaneously.

It would help not having to flick through everything constantly.

Like you said as well, it's also cool for gaming.

With dollars the way they are right now you might wind up getting a better deal if you buy from a US company. Shipping might offset the savings tho.

Yeah, we do. VAT on the purchase and VAT on the shipping. So thats double-tax.
