I hate moving!

Post by dissent »

I don't hate many things, but I do hate moving. It's great when it's finally over with, but the process is seeming to take forever. I've thrown out mountains of garbage for four weeks straight, moved almost all of the furniture; but everytime I turn around, it seems as if the same amount of stuff is still there.

I am soooo tired ........

But you did get to throw away all that stuff with more to throw. Keep at it. I hate pack rats....

My family seems to move just about once every 1.1-1.3 years. I almost enjoy it; it's great weight lifting training, especially when you don't hire movers.

Never moved in my whole life. My mother neither, for that matter :)

I moved only once in my life, ten years ago; I don't think we're planning it again any time soon. This homebody likes to lay down roots and stay put. :)

The worst part about moving is the waiting for the internet connection to get back up and running. Especially since I live alone and work so I can't be there except on weekends.

I do like that I can use moving as an excuse to throw out a bunch of junk that I don't really want and just takes up space though. Like 8 year old motherboard boxes and stuff.

Indeeeeeeeed! I have move about every three years or so since I was born (and sometimes more often). I was an army brat and then joined the Navy at 18. Fun times. I don't keep hardly anything that I haven't used in the last year. :)

I'm dreading the day I move out, since I'm a huge pack rat. I got it from my dad, whos house looks like a landfill. Trying to avoid that, though.
