Well, I looked at the chip and I can't tell the fsb, but it was supposed to be a 266 and it has been running for about a year with no stability issues. Could something have gone fubar with the mobo so that a fast processor makes it take a dump? The 2600+ is the limit on this mobo. The system has been running over 24 hours now with no problems on the old processor, a 1400+
