Aye, but the title of the thread just said Old Skool Descent sites, not 1, 2 or 3 in particular.

Title of forum says Descent and Descent 2. :) It's for people that don't care much about D3. :)

I ran into Motoman the other day in a HALO game of all places. He was writing a descent novel years ago.

I remember when several of the major clans had legacy stories that intertwined. Those were fun.

hehe Capm. I remember at one point when releasing new levels it was kind of a cool thing to do when you added a text document with a little story to go along with the level. Most of the times it included your own clan having ownership of said level and were obligated to stomp the snot out of the rival clans in it ;)

ah yes, that was fun :P

Ah, yes. Was a pretty cool novel too.

It sometimes amazes me that he's still around, but I guess he can't go anywhere.

As much as I enjoy an occasional game of Halo, I haven't played the game online, ever. But I can't blame a guy for wanting to use my name. ;)

Mighty amount of nostalgia going on in this thread... Glad I found it.

For those interested in that crazy novella of which Dupe speaks: http://www.jazzcrazed.com/dfs/index.html

Wow, Vlider, you are still here! Want to put the finishing touches on that Rush level collection?

If this thread is all about old School Descent, then you must be talkin' Sidewinder 3d pros, and since you've been bangin' on that poor old stick for 10 years, you better head on over to my repair and revitalizing site- http://www.cc.utah.edu/~dlg7/repair.html

Doh :) I was just checking on the site today and realized warpcore.org had a reset or something, as the whoopass cannery's directory is empty (so's the IDL). ;) And I can't find any backups of the site on my computer. ARRRRGGGHH!!!! NOOOO!!!!

Ah well... :)
