I mean, all they do is return the answers to your questions (things you knew already anyways) right back to you except in a much more complementary form, but all under the guise of some arbitrary category, like an astrological sign, to hide the fact that, instead of the survey merely telling you exactly what you want to hear, this is some preordained quality.

When one answers yes to a bunch of questions asking if the user thinks that he or she is funny and that he or she likes to joke around, should that same user really be startled, flattered, or enlightened when revealed to be Hysterica, god of all funniness and charmer of all women?
you could say the same thing about any self-reporting unchecked test.

of course this test is about your ego. as in: it's how you see yourself.
in healthy (ie: honest) individuals how you see yourself is generally pretty close to how/who you are.

for others it may be a good way of seeing how honest your fellow man is. i'm no expert on interpreting the results, for most of you your results do reflect what i know of you. some others... not.

a) could be coz i'm not as good as interpreting the test as i think i am, or
b) coz you arn't being honest with yourself or others, or
c) that i don't know you.

B also encompasses C when you think about it.

either way it's informative for one and all to know how myself and others see eachother.

it's always interesting to get someone who knows you well (perhaps your partner, close friend or a family member) to fill in your answers on your behalf - and then check the results to your own.

I wouldn't worry-- I don't think that there is any such thing as being an "expert on interpreting the results" of an anonymously submitted survey on quizfarm.com. ;)

I'm not suggesting that there isn't meaning or fun to be had in reading others' responses. It's outside the scope of my post. I just think that the perpetuation of these types of surveys is largely based on... ego-stroking.

See, even I've gotten wrapped up into it-- here's the results of my test, so feel free to work your psychoanalyzing magiks. :P

Air 85%
Fire 70%
Earth 65%
Water 60%
Spirit 40%

I noticed that I probably answered the questions a little bit more strongly than others before me have.
