TCP/IP Not active on my system error

Does anyone know what this means?, i just tried joining a game, when in fact i was just in a game not 20 minutes ago yet i try joining another and i got "TCP/IP Not active on your system" error any help here?

try rebooting. Otherwise, try removing TCP/IP and reinstalling it.

Is TCP bound to the adapter you're using?
