Problems with D2X-W32

IÂ´m having problems to run D2x-w32.
IÂ´m on XP, have a NVIDIA MX-200 64MB video card.
I have installed D2 on the maximum installation level(CRAZY), patched it to get 1.2 version. Extracted d2x-w32 on itÂ´s folder. But when I run d2x-w32 it wonÂ´t start. The screen gets black for a while and then it gets back to XP.
Can someone please help me out with this?
