Ugh, I agree on the fact that, the content shouldn't have been placed on the game. However, someone probably would have implemented anyway but with a little more work involved. But you should also consider the fact that it is a game where the F word is mainstream and used, nearly every other word and you can randomly beat cops and old ladies to death with a baseball bat or with your bare hands. Apparently they only got away with this lawsuite because the content was inside the game. However, it was DISABLED and could only be re-enabled by a mod!! Rockstar should have known that this game was allready a major controversy and they shouldn't have attempted to push it this far over the edge.


What really makes me nervous though, is if the ESRB will start forcing other game companies to prevent modding of their games. Imagine what kind of effect this would have on the Elder Scrolls series, UT, Doom, Quake, Half Life and nearly every other franchise that is so dependent on such functionality.


For many, mods play a major roll in why a consumer buys a game. They better not do this to Oblivion. :(
